Study Name:

Single Dose Plasma Pharmacokinetic Analysis of Targeted Anticancer Agents in Tumor Bearing Dogs

Purpose of the study:

  • To measure blood levels of targeted therapy drugs over 24 hours following a single oral dose in dogs with cancer

Primary Eligibility Criteria:

  • Weight at least 10 kg (22 lb)
  • Confirmed diagnosis of cancer
  • Adequate bloodwork parameters
  • 7-day washout from any anti-cancer treatment
  • Pets must come to CSU for all visits related to the clinical trial

Study Protocol:

  • Dogs will receive a single oral dose of one of the drugs
  • A small amount of drug will be collected at various timepoints over 24 hours
  • After the 24-hour blood sample is drawn, the study is complete

  • Diagnostics to confirm your dog is eligible to participate
