Racing for One Cure

One Cure is all about speeding new and promising treatments for all cancer patients – pets and people – which is why we’re thrilled to team up with the motorsports industry to raise awareness of our ground-breaking work in comparative oncology.  Non-traditional?  You bet, but we love working with folks who also like to speed towards a goal. With the help of our partners, we’re hoping to spread the word that cancer occurs naturally in pets at a similar rate to people. And because we know cancer is cancer, what we learn by treating our patients at the Flint Animal Cancer Center holds promise for people with cancer.

Because we are in the business of curing cancer, we owe our partnership and gratitude to a generous benefactor who saw car racing as a great vehicle (pun intended) to raise public awareness about One Cure.

“I am beyond excited to partner with One Cure and bring more focus and energy to discovering ways to help find a cure to save the lives of our loved ones, including our pets, who we consider family members.”

Graham Rahal is a professional IndyCar driver and has been One Cure partner since 2018.

“It is an honor to partner with One Cure to bring more attention to the work they are doing to save our beloved pets. The effort they put in goes a long way toward saving the lives of animals that are like family but could also lead to life-saving discoveries for all of us.”

Cole Custer is a professional NASCAR driver and will be partnering with One Cure for the first time this season.

Together, we will speed up a cure!

We are also grateful for additional relationships with professional race car driver, Jay Howard, and his driver development program, and a new friendship with motorcycle road racer, Kyle Wyman.
