Study Name:
Single Dose Plasma Pharmacokinetic Analysis of Targeted Anticancer Agents in Tumor Bearing Dogs
Purpose of the study:
- To measure blood levels of targeted therapy drugs over 96 hours following a single subcutaneous dose in dogs with cancer
Primary Eligibility Criteria:
- Weight at least 10 kg (22 lb)
- Confirmed diagnosis of cancer
- Adequate bloodwork parameters
- 7-day washout from any anti-cancer treatment
- Pets must come to CSU for all visits related to the clinical trial
Study Protocol:
- Dogs will receive a single subcutaneous dose of one of the drugs
- A small amount of drug will be collected at various timepoints over 24 hours
- Additional blood samples will be collected 48 and 96 hours after treatment
- After the 96-hour blood sample is drawn, the study is complete
