Make an Appointment

Dr. Steve WithrowThe Clinical Oncology Service at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital sees new case  appointments Monday-Thursday.  We do our best to accommodate all requests for appointments in a timely manner.  Appointments are generally available within 2-3 days of the initial call. Emergency appointments are approved on a case by case basis.  Both animal owners and referring veterinarians can make appointments for animals.  You do not need a referring veterinarian to make an appointment.  You do not need a histopathologic or confirmed diagnosis of cancer to make an appointment. 

To make an oncology appointment, please call (970) 297-5000 and ask for the scheduling desk.  They are available to make appointments M-F 8-4 pm. When you schedule your appointment please have the following information available:

  1. Your name, address, and phone number
  2. Your pets name, breed, age and gender
  3. The name and contact information for your referring veterinarian, if you have one
  4. The presumed diagnosis or short description of your concern
