One in three people, one in four dogs, and one in five cats will develop cancer in their lifetimes. Twenty years ago, cancer was a terminal diagnosis with few treatment options, especially for pets.
Today, thanks to the leadership and vision of Dr. Steve Withrow and thousands of people like you who believed in that vision, there is hope because there are options.
Today, there is the Colorado State University Animal Cancer Center.
The Animal Cancer Center has been Dr. Withrow's dream and life's work. Because you have been part of that dream, please join us for Dr. Withrow's retirement and celebration of the Animal Cancer Center.
Saturday, May 26, 2012, 3 p.m.
Colorado State University Animal Cancer Center
300 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80523
Festivities will take place in the Diagnostic Medicine Center Courtyard, just north of the Animal Cancer Center wing of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Signage will direct you on the day of the event to ample parking.
A special presentation will be followed by a barbecue and a toast and roast of Steve. Families welcome. (Sorry, not the pets!) https://advancing.colostate.edu/CELEBRATINGDRWITHROW.
Can't attend, but would like to share a message with Dr. Withrow? https://advancing.colostate.edu/CELEBRATINGDRWITHROW.
Thank you for your support through the years! We hope to see you soon!
Most sincerely,
Dr. Rodney Page, Director, and the Animal Cancer Center Team.
